The Best Films of Iranian & World Cinema

In 1988, FILM Monthly, the leading Iranian film journal, invited critics and filmmakers to play the old game of the best films of their lives. Ever since, every decade they have returned to that ritual.

The thrid poll whose participants included more than 100 Iranian critics, of at least five different generations, came up with these results:
